Your Role & Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and control systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Assist remote engineers with PLC configuration and fault diagnosis.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) standards, following RAMS and safe systems of work.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and service activities, ensuring documentation is up to date.
  • Work closely with clients, ensuring smooth plant operations and resolving issues promptly.
  • Respond to out-of-hours faults and perform remote monitoring system checks.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum Level 3 Electrical Engineering qualification (essential).
  • At least 3 years of experience in a service/maintenance role, ideally within the renewable energy sector.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical expertise (pumps, mixers, control systems, motors, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults.
  • Full UK driving license (essential).
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of SSOW, RAMS, and compliance with safety regulations.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in anaerobic digestion/biogas or a similar process plant environment.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Inspection and testing certification.
  • PASMA or similar industry certifications.
