Maintenance Operations:
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to meet legal, compliance, and operational requirements.
- Monitor performance against KPIs and take corrective action to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
- Ensure plant equipment is maintained to the highest safety and environmental standards, responding swiftly to breakdowns.
- Maintain and manage spare parts inventory, contributing to FMECA studies and reviewing stock for suitability.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, ensuring training and development needs are identified and addressed.
- Conduct performance reviews, recognize achievements, and implement improvement plans where necessary.
- Build a strong team culture, promoting collaboration and accountability.
- Ensure all personnel adhere to safe working practices, supporting the implementation of company-wide safety initiatives.
- Drive a compliance-first culture, ensuring adherence to ISO9001, PAS110, and FSSC 22001 standards.
- Audit and maintain SOPs, Risk Assessments, and contractor management processes.
- Provide detailed monthly performance reports covering compliance, quality, costs, and risks.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve systems, processes, and maintenance practices.
- Support new site setups and commissioning activities, leveraging your expertise to enhance operational efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in a modern manufacturing or renewable energy environment.
- Proven ability to lead a maintenance team and plan/executive maintenance activities effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in IT, particularly advanced Excel, with experience in maintenance management systems.
- Qualified to at least HND level in an engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Full UK driving license (manual & automatic).
- Experience in anaerobic digestion or related processes.
- IOSH Certificate, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement training.
- Auditing experience and familiarity with quality management systems.
