The engineering team are responsible for the maintenance and repair of processing machinery, AD process equipment, water treatment plant, buildings and site civils.
In your first few weeks in this Electrical Plant Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Adhere to the Site Health and Safety policy in all work activities
- Complete Planned Maintenance tasks and record corrective actions on the computer-based maintenance system
- Coordinate breakdowns ensuring the quickest possible response and rectification
- Supervise contractors ensuring safe systems of work are followed
- Be responsible for equipment repairs and refurbishment and any new installations and fabrications work
To apply for this role you must have worked in a similar industry, and have relevant engineering qualifications to back up experience gained within this field. You will also need:
- The ability to communicate effectively and with a proactive and methodical approach to projects and tasks
- Adherence to safe working practices
- All aspects of engineering, both electrical and mechanical knowledge
- To provide a timely response to breakdowns
- A high quality of maintenance and repair skills
- A proactive approach to improving machinery efficiency and effectiveness
