  • Promote a safe working culture, ensuring strict adherence to all legal and internal health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Manage external contractors, issue Permits to Work, and ensure compliance with the Safe System of Work.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement solutions to minimize plant downtime and improve operational reliability.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS and contribute to budget planning and monitoring.
  • Support and develop team members, ensuring up-to-date training and compliance with competency requirements.
  • Actively contribute to system and process improvements to enhance site performance and safety standards.
  • Deputize for the Maintenance Team Leader as required and provide out-of-hours support during emergencies or shutdown periods.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Dynamic and proactive approach to maintenance, focused on preventing downtime and enhancing equipment longevity.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems and a proactive commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) practices.
  • Skilled communicator with effective people management abilities and the confidence to step in for the Maintenance Team Leader.
  • Hands-on experience working with CompEx/ATEX regulations and within a Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Experienced in issuing Permits to Work and managing contractor relationships to ensure high-quality performance and compliance.
