Overview:

The Role:
As a senior member of the sales team, you’ll play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies to expand the company’s market presence in the WWT sector. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be tasked with identifying and capturing new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver solutions that address complex client challenges. This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who can expertly bridge technical and commercial requirements in a client-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the WWT sector, including partnerships, markets, and product lines.
- Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, creating tailored proposals, and converting leads into sales.
- Staying current on industry trends, regulatory impacts, and market developments, while representing the company at key industry events.
- Collaborating with technical and proposal teams to align solutions with client needs and expectations.
- Preparing and presenting professional technical sales materials in person and online.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in capital or process equipment sales within the WWT sector.
- Well-connected within wastewater operating companies, design consultants, and tier 1 & tier 2 contractors.
- Technically proficient, with experience delivering impactful technical sales presentations and managing end-to-end client communications.
- Demonstrated success in executing marketing campaigns, with a strategic approach to growing market share.
- Proficient in technical drawing interpretation and comfortable discussing technical details with clients.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both operational and executive-level stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and able to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
Location & Benefits:
While the head office is based in Kent, this role offers flexibility across the UK with regular office visits and national/international travel as required.
